Every dog is different, even two dogs of the same breed or even the same litter can have completely different coat types. Without seeing your individual pet, I will give the best estimate possible.
Price estimates for haircuts include a full-body haircut, clipping of nails, cleaning ears (and ear hair removal if needed), anal gland expression, and a full bath with shampoo and conditioner of choice.
Price estimates for bath and brushes include a good bath with shampoo and conditioner of choice, clipping nails, cleaning ears (and ear hair removal if needed), expressing anal glands. On full coated breeds, I will also trim feet pads and around the feet, sanitation areas and minor facial trimming.
I can add on teeth brushing for $5. This is the same for all dog sizes.
For dogs that are excessively matted or dirty, requiring additional time, there may be additional charges. This will be discussed before the grooming takes place.
If you are booking appointments for multiple dogs at the same location, I am definitely willing to flex a little on pricing.
Pricing will vary depending greatly upon the coat type and length as well as condition of the coat.
I try to be as fair as possible, but a dog that hasn't had a bath in 6 months requires a lot more time, effort, and resources than a dog that has just had a bath 6 weeks ago. Keeping your pet on a regular grooming schedule can help keep your pet healthy and keep costs down.
Dogs that are excessively matted will not be eligible for just a bath. If you think your dog may need to be shaved, we can make the appointment for a haircut and then I will see what I can do.
